We've been busy here at NKHenry working on new styles and stuff... Beside the petite collection, which I gave you a glimpse of in the last post, we have been making one of a kind clutches, a perfect Summer companion. We are only making one (or two) of each style, so you can truly have something unique.

From The Met Gala 2013 ...
So the Met Gala is a big to do each year and I've only really started paying attention to it in the last year or so, really. I saw quite a few posts on The Best Dressed and all that jazz, so I picked out some of my faves below.. And since I'm more of a unpretentious, yet sexy on the low type girl, you'll see many of my choices reflect that.

It's May baby...
So Spring is in full swing and of course just like the flowers bloom, we have some new things to let you in on.

*Update*
Update to the last blog post below featuring our retail partner Moon and Arrow boutique.
The store has been closed for the past few weeks due to a fire at a neighboring store in which smoke and water damage has impacted the boutique.Our friends at Moon and Arrow are ok, I spoke with Chelsea and she plans to re-open the store sometime in early to mid-May.
There has been a relief fund set up to help those impacted the fire. Learn more here:

Spring trunk show!
We are hosting our very 1st trunk show over on our Facebook page in about 2 weeks!
It's a fun experiment, it gives me the opportunity to interact directly with our customers. I'll be offering some great deals on current Spring items as well as old stock.

yes... Featuring the Candy belt
The Candy belt is our 1st belt addition to the shop in a long time and we are just in love with it. It's the perfect Spring/Summer belt for wearing with everything to add just a pop of color and turn up the chic factor on any look.

Spring Inspiration...
This season's bags were inspired by children at play. I found an old drawing my son did a few years ago when he was either in 1st or 2nd grade and beside making me all misty eyed and sentimental, it provided inspiration for our new collection of bags.
Bold and bright colors, irregular stitch lines and mismatched thread are found in the colorful totes and hobos in our online shop. Here is one of my boy's pieces- I'm so ashamed I didn't frame it a long time ago... A chalk and watercolor piecesthat I absolutely love.
