So I went a shopping today, yes I'm one of those last minuters...I usually don't get started until about a week before Christmas each year. So anyway, at this particular store, which shall remain nameless, the cashier gave me back $27 too much change. That in and of itself is remarkable, but what makes it even more remarkable is that the item I bought was exactly $3.00 and I gave her exactly $3.00!
I was confused about the transaction so initially I thought I had mistakenly given her a $20 dollar bill. But I looked in my wallet and woala the only $20 I had with me was still there. How this happened who knows- blame it on Mercury retrograde, but I did lose $20 about 3 weeks ago...
So I text my friend about my little transaction and he tells me that I should give I back, God will bless me 10 times more he says... Well, Im already out the store I say....
So then I go to another store right after this and the cashier at this store gives me back .30something cents back too much, but I realize it before I walk away and I gave it back. Go figure, I guess the leprechauns are at work.
